My sister and I are looking at this week for our trip. Anyone else signed up for these dates? This will be our first Contiki tour and my sister's first time in Europe.

I don't know how I'm going to survive waiting for May to get here!

I am thinking of taking a trip to Italy in May but am not yet sure of the dates.  I should know more soon.  I'll be traveling alone so it would be nice to  get to know people before the trip.

Hi Nicole,

We're actually putting in our reservation by the end of this week. We'll go either on the May 23 or May 25 tour. My travel agent friend was going to check and see which tour was filling up faster since those aren't guaranteed departure dates.

I do like how you can meet people here before you go. Hope your trip works out to match ours. I found a guy on here who took the Simply Italy tour in the fall and he's been sending me some trip tips. If you do decide to go, let me know and I'll forward you the stuff he's been sending me.

I'm going with 3 of my guy friends on the Simply Italy tour on May 15th-May 27th i believe is the date....Just want to know if anyone else is going during that time or if you are deciding to go consider that date b/c i know it is a GUARANTEED DEPARTURE which is pretty important. We are from Ontario Canada and our ages range from 18 - 20. Hit me up with a message if your going around May 15th.

but i want to go from may 25 to june 6
since it lets you enjoy the weekend too
because the tour for may 28 to june 9 doesnt

but again the tour of may 25 is not guarantee..   =(

Ignore my previous post that use to be here.

We actually booked the May 23 - June 4 trip. Apparently for us, it was more expensive to leave two days later because of our local airport.

So for anyone booking May 23rd for your departure date, I can't wait to meet you.

I'm going on the 28th (29th departure), chose that one because I was told it is a guaranteed departure, too bad you are the week before, would haave loved to have you in mine.

Hey Norelle,

I'm sure both trips will be fun. I looked at the guaranteed departure, but it didn't fit my schedule as well. Besides, Contiki told us that if the trip doesn't fill up enough, which they also said was highly unlikely since it's a summer trip, then they just give you the option to switch to another departure date. 

But hopefully, more people will choose this week! (hint, hint)

I am planning on the May 23rd departure for Simply Italy, but as of now would be going alone. I can't decide if I should wait for a friend (but what if the tour fills up by the time they decide?) or attempt the trip solo. Has anyone else ever travelled alone?
