Hey,

I'm planning to go on the same tour, but i'm a bit confused. According to the itinerary, (depending on which tour you choose) the tour either starts on the 24th or the 26th of June, there is nothing in between, unless of course your counting from the day you arrive in Rome. If someone can explain this to me that would be great.

This is the tour that listed from 06/24 to 07/06 correct?

My fiance and I are going to be on this tour for our Honeymoon. We are super excited. It will be our first vacation over seas. We thought a guided tour would take the stress out of traveling by ourselves.

Any advice for newbies? I was looking at the checklist of items to bring: insect repellent, flashlight...do you think those two items are necessary for this trip? We're not camping one night are we? I'm sooo concerned that I wont be able to get everything in one little suitcase per person!

It would be nice to get to know some people on our tour before we get there.

Sounds like a lot of people combine trips together and spend extra time before and after there tours...just from reading the msg boards anyway. I wish we could have done that. I mean...we're already in the vicinity! Unfortunately with the week off before the trip for our wedding plus the trip our jobs would have a cow if we were gone longer! We will make it back someday, our places to see seems to get bigger every year! Italy is a HUGE checkmark on our list though.

We have been reading quite a bit about Italy lately and there seems to be a big concern about the dress code to get into places, like to eat. I was hoping to just pack for comfort and casual with a couple nice outfits for going out at night. Now I'm starting to second guess that.

Anyway, Glad to meet everybody!
Linda
