Of the five Contiki tours I've done, the Simply Italy tour was the very best. Definitely one of my best traveling experiences to date. Try to go right before or after the high season (April or May/September) to beat the huge crowds.

I just recently booked this tour and the "Golden Fleece" tour. I am so excited to go! I am also taking Italian classes to help me out a bit with the language while I am there. Are there any tips or important info you have for someone doing the "Simply Italy" tour? Any of the optionals you do or do not recommend? I am staying extra time in Rome after the tour and I am looking for a connection either train, bus etc that will take me to Positano from Rome.
