I'm thinking about signing up with this tour. This will be my fourth conitiki tour.

This will be my 3rd Contiki tour. I did my 1st and 2nd tour last year. But they were both tours of the USA.

This will be my first tour in Europe. I can't wait. What other Contiki tours have you done???

I've done 4 tours.... Southern Ireland, French Connexxion (which is not offered anymore), and Eastern Road. What about you? Which ones did you do last year?

Well... the tours I did were all tours of the USA. The first one was the Big Apple Explorer (which only of New York) and then the Grand Southern tour. I did both of them last year.

So... this year its Italy and Greece.

Are you only going to do Simply Italy???

I must say its really nerve-wracking and exciting. Only a few months away!!!

Italy is the only destination in the plans so far for this summer. I would love to go to Greece as well. So much to see. I'm sure you will have a great time there.

I haven't booked my tour yet. I will be doing it sometime over the next few days.

What are you most looking forward to on your Italy trip? Greece trip?

What am I looking forward to... hmmm...everything!!! I really don't know what to expect because it will be the first time that I will be in Europe. But I know that I will have an amazing time. I studied Latin at school ... so I am looking forward to seeing Pompeii and all the ruins. I would also love to see Milan (because of the fashion - hey I am a woman and we love fashion)

Other than that... just the whole experience... that's what I am looking forward to. I can't wait!! I wish I could be there already!!!

I chose Greece as well because I would love to see Greece and the ruins. I would have loved to also see the Greek Isles, but for us South Africans, it is very difficult because of the Visas. In order for me to see the Greek Isles, I have to get an additional Visa which will cost about $150. It might not seem like much... but the costs add up.

But it's alright... I know that I will have fun in Italy and Greece!!!

Otherwise, I am looking forward to summer weather in Europe. In July, it will be freezing cold here... so it will be nice to escape the winter chills.

Like you, I'm interested in the ruins of Pompeii. I'm sure it will cool to see the leaning tower of Pisa in person. I enjoy visiting and seeing the sites in old European cities. We don't really have anything like them in Canada. Old Quebec City and Montreal come close. I'm also interested in meeting new people from around the world who will also be on our tour. Can you speak Italian? What did you like the most on your tours last summer?

hey!

this will be my 2nd contiki trip! i went on the european discovery last year, it was hectic but a great experience!!

like you guys, i cannot wait to see the ruins of pompeii, the bay of naples & the leaning tower!!! =)

Yes... I can imagine that the european discovery can be quite hectic. But at least you were able to see so many different countries.

I did the Grand Southern tour last year of the USA. I loved it ... but I found that often we simply stopped in certain towns and I wanted to see more of them. That's why I decided to rather go to a smaller country. Plus I have always wanted to see Italy.

I am just a bit nervous because it will be my first time in Europe ... but I can't wait. I'm counting down the days

Yes... the countdown has started. It seems like there is excitement all around. Except I am also really nervous. It will be my first time in Europe.

So... u are Italian... can u speak Italian???

If you can... that's great ... cos you can be our personal interpreter. (Just kidding)

Sorry... I am just nervous here. I can't wait to see Italy and all the culture. But it will be different for me to be in a country where I can't speak the language.

The only things I can say is Ciao, Bene, No Comprendo. Hehehehe... I hope that is enough to get me through Italy.

this is my first contiki tour, i'm heading to italy cause my cousin is getting married in rome and i thought i could squeeze in a tour up north while i'm there.
