How awesome that u got your docos already! My travel agency said I need to wait another few weeks.. Hmm might follow up on them! So what does it say about the optional excursions? What's in the docos?hotel info, daily itinerary etc??
Ps I'm also taking a suitcase.. Best for shopping and taking back home

I kept bugging my travel agent all the time - so i think she probably got sick of me! :-) It gives you the hotels each day (with the numbers and addresses to give to family), a pouch thingy to keep all documents in and itenary. It still doesnt say anything about Vatican - but the travel agent says that you go to the Basillica museum only? Think that means not the Sistine Chapel but have no idea! Also something i noted in the docs is that you cant pay optional excursions on credit card (has to be cash!) I mean, who does that! Lol! Will have to take money then! Its 6 weeks for me! u must be leaving soon then!

Not accepting credit card payments is a little ridiculous.. Just another wad of cash we need to carry! Bet it's a scam between locals and the tour managers to make some extra cash haha
I really want to go to the Sistine chapel! Thought it was a key highlight that they'd take us to..

I booked my Vatican tour! I booked it for the afternoon before the last day, as they say you have a free afternoon to do what you want to do! www.vatican.va ...its quite easy to do! 4 weeks tomorrow, cant wait! Wierd how no one else has said they are going on this tour!

Thanks! I'm in my last week at work and can barely focus on working This time next week I will be in London!!
Btw, I'm actually going to get to Rome earlier because it was the only flight I could get out of Valencia.. i will get to Rome on Fri, 28th Aug in the afternoon.. maybe i will check out the vatican and sistine chapel then..
