Just wondering if anyone else has booked the october 7th simply italy trip.

I am booked on the Simply Italy starting on the 8th October but getting to Rome 2 days early.

Thats good to hear! I am going a day early and staying for or five days late before coming home.

Six extra days? I guess my one post-night doesn't seem so impressive any more.

And yes, I am booked for Oct 7th. (Technically, the tour begins when we meet up on the evening of the 8th, but those of us in North America will fly out on the 7th.)

For those of you going a little early, what hotel are you staying at in Rome? If you have any tips on reasonable places, let me know!

Columbus, Ohio here. But I'll count myself an honorary Canadian for this trip because I'll be flying Air Canada and staying a night in Toronto on the way back.

I'm not sure one night in Toronto would be enough to consider you a Canadian. If you become a crazy hockey fan (preferably a Leafs fan) and start going to Tim Horton's, then we'll talk!

My Friend and I are from Chicago. We arriving early on the 8th, if anyone has a good plan on how to spend the time between us getting checked into the hotel (should be the earliest time they let us as our place lands at 8 AM) and our group meeting, i am all ears.

For our canadian friends i play hockey 3 times a week, but we don't have professional team in Chicago.

so has anyone gone on a contiki trip before?
