i was curious who else was going on the november 3 trip....this is my first trip to europe and with contiki...i am going solo too.....i think i am arriving to italy really early on sunday morning

Hey there, Jim & Holly from Colorado will arrive on Sunday, Nov 4th at 7:45am & we're taking the Contiki prepaid shuttle service. So we will be at the hotel early on Sunday. I heard today that the coach we will be riding in is "pretty much full." Can't wait to meet everyone and have some fun! Cheers!!

hi Jim and Holly! John and I will be arriving this Saturday the 3rd in the morning. So we will be at the hotel (catching up on some needed sleep before we head into town) most likely when you arrive in the morning on Sunday! See you then!!

Greer & John, what is up?! I guess it might depend on how much sleep we get on the red-eye flight, but we'd love to go walk around and explore on Sunday afternoon. If there is a lobby bar or lobby area, maybe we'll see you there and we can go exploring together...cannot wait. Just checked the weather & it's supposed to be 60's during the day & 40's at night...can't decide on bringing a huge winter coat or not....

hey! when we get in saturday I know that we are just going to drop our things in the hotel and go, not going to take a nap or anything because then it will totally mess up our sleeping pattern for a few days......but yeah I believe there is a lobby in that hotel, I think the last contiki tour I was on I stayed there, not 100% sure, don't remember...but I am sure all of the Contiki rooms are on the same floor and blocked off together......I am sure we will bump into each other! the hotels that they put us in aren't big by any means.
I am bringing a North Face fleece Jacket which is my late fall/winter jacket and I am bringing a lighter Jacket, also bringing gloves and scarves....
how old are you two? I am 28 and John is 27. This is my 3rd time to Italy and John's first, I am very excited to go back! It is one of my favorite countries!

I am 32 & Jim is 34, but I must say we act pretty immature for our age. We have a keg-erator in our basement, the last few concerts we went to were Snoopdogg, Beastie Boys, and String Cheese Incident, we don't have any kids, and we've never been to Italy before. I have a huge painting by Frederick Aagaard in my living room of the Amalfi coast, which has been somewhat of my inspiration for finally booking this trip! It's actually our honeymoon, but we're not really the "sit-in-your-room & eat strawberries & champagne" type of honeymooners.
