Hey Kate! I'm also 20, from good old Sydney, Australia! I'm travelling
alone as well, I'm really nervous too, but I'm sure it'll be heaps fun!
I'm gonna get to Rome a day before the trip starts, just to get myself
settled in and catch up on all that sleep I'll miss on the flight!

I still haven't decided which tour to do. But I have a question for the both of you. Why did you pick this one? Especially this date? I like the departure day because of other schedualing here but it's not a "guaranteed departure".
I was also wondering whether you girls were doing any travelling afterwards around the rest of Europe?

I'm doing this trip coz it fits in well with uni, coz I only get a
month off in June/July. Its not a guaranteed departure, but the travel
agent told me that that times usually really popular, coz of the
weather and stuff.

My dad's meeting me in Venice after the trip and we're gonna see some
relatives for a week or so, so I won't be home till 12th July, just in
time for the new uni semester!

To be honest I didnt even take the guaranteed departures into consideration. It just fitted in with my travel plans and I also figured it would be hot enough for it to be a fairly popular tour.

I'm not travelling round after the tour but Im travelling before it. Im flying to madrid May 7, doing a 12 day contiki around spain, then meeting up wiht my friend who has been on exchange over there and we are doing random countries for 4 weeks Dont know where we r going yet think we will just take it as it comes. Have a great time whatever u end up deciding to do

I haven't really thought about any back-up plans as yet, I just always
presumed this trip would be really popular and go ahead. I've already
booked for the 21st June, but I guess if it was cancelled, I'd do the
19th June... fingers crossed that doesn't happen though! I don't think
it will though, one of my friends did a European trip, and he said it
didn't fill up until the last minute, I'm guessing that's what's gonna
happen with this one.
