I booked everything.  What time are you arriving?  I was wondering if you want to get some things in advance so we dont wait in line.

It leaves on August 9th yea? or are you travelling on the one starting Aug 7th? yay so excited!

I arrive in Rome at 11:20 am.  Thats great we can probablly meet
up.  Like in florence Contiki takes you to the museum but doesnt
pay entrance fee so you have to wait in line.  For example the
statue of David is at the Academia in florence but you have to pay
entrance fee and it will be a long wait in line so its easier to book
in advacne so you dont have to wait in line.  Tell me what you
think.  We can talk more about.  Take care.

BAsically you reserve through the muesum.  I am going to do it in june.  Maybe we can do it together.  Because if we dont we have to wait in line. Their sis a site u can reserve.  Nope not pratcing italina.  No time.  Hopefully you can help me.  I have some to hang out with at leeast on the trip.  Keep in touch.  Its going to be a blast.  You should have extended it a day.  I did it a day.

hey, I'm pretty sure I'm on that same tour, but in our NZ contiki books its says, gauranteed departure on 9th Aug, thats why im confused!

i'm a little worried because i've been reading reviews about italy in aug, and people say to avoid that month cause its so hot and the cues are horrendous! so hopefully we can book as much as in advance, places to go.

Unfortunately I won't be extending my trip I only wish I would be able to.  Originally I wanted to, but I couldn't find the time or resources.  How about yourself?

That sucks.  It would of been fun for someone to extend.  I am extending one day at the end of the trip.  It was better than way for me because it is easier for me to get to my flight the next day.  Just curious how old are you and your friend? Just want to find out the age range on this trip.  I am going to get the tickets to some museum in advnace because IO heard contiki takes you to the place but you have to pay admission.  Uusually u have to wait 3 hours in line.  So if you and your friend what to get tickets also let me know maybe we can get a discount.  Hope to hear back from you. I am also going to be on this trip.
I am traveling with a friend.
We are from NYC - i am a 26 year old girl and he is a 27 year old boy.
We went on the Southern Ireland tour last summer with Contiki and had an absolute blast.
I think you should call your Contiki agent before you purcharse anything in advanced. With Ireland, Contiki purcharses everything for you - it's mostly included in the trip.
I had a friend who went on this same trip last October and she didn't advise to do this - but I will check with her.
I'm very excited about this trip - it has been my dream to visit Italy someday.

Hopefully your right Jen.  When i booked my trip Contiki said some of the places you pay your self and some you dont.  I will check and please tell me what your friend said.  Take care.
