Unreal. I just called and they said that it's not 'closed' yet, which means that its not guaranteed. I wish I would have known about this before booking my flights.

Did you search under Simply Italy Winter trips? That's how I usually find it.

The good news is that the trip right before ours is sold out. So now we just have to wait and cross our fingers

yay! I'm so glad it's guaranteed now I can start looking for airline tickets. Is anyone leaving from the DC area? There is a direct Dulles to Rome United flight we're thinking of taking.

I will be flying in a week before the trip to meet a friend living in northern Italy. I really hope it works out and it does become a guaranteed departure. If not my tickets are all paid for and I guess I will be visiting this friend longer than we talked about, haha.

I called Contiki yesterday and they informed me that there are now 25 people signed up for the Oct 18th trip. That makes it a guaranteed departure! It is a definite now.
