Hey everyone.. I'm going on the tour May 13-May 25th, and I'll be staying an extra few days (until the morning of the 28th) on my own to explore Rome. I was just curious if anyone would be in the city that was either on my tour or another tour. Also, I'm planning on getting a ticket to a Roma futbol game on the 27th, and would love to see if anyone was interested so I don't have to experience the craziness of Italian soccer on my own

Hey, I'll be in Rome on the 25th. That's actually the first day of my tour. I am on the tour May 24th - June 5th. I'll be leaving Atlanta on the 23rd and will be in Rome the morning of 24th. hey, i'm sick of waiting too and need to reminded that i am actually going somewhere in may and it's not just a dream.. getting the tickets will make it real..
does anyone know anyone else who is staying in italy after the tour?
i think it's seven or eight weeks now till we go.. i reckon when it gets to six weeks it will go heaps fast and then the last week (week before departure) will goooo for ever and the last night i won't be able to sleep.. haha..
i want to go now, by the time i go my excitement might be burnt out..

anyway, i'm staying in rome too after the tour, but different dates to you, (damm) otherwise i would go to the football with you if i was staying longer...
i'll be there 18th to the 23rd or 24th, then going to london..

I would be interested in seeing a futbol game! My tour actually starts the 27th (day I arrive) but I would consider coming a day earlier to be there for the game. Are you for sure getting tickets? Any other details would be appreciated. I have booked the trip but not my ticket yet but plan to soon.

Hey, wow I would love to have someone to go to the game with! So the game is at 3pm. I'm definitely getting a ticket no matter what. You can buy them ahead of time through a ticket agency, or wait till they go on sale the week of, either way you have them delivered to your hotel (they could deliver yours to me since you might not get them in time). I haven't decided which i'm going to do yet... it's a matter a of cost (they're expensice), but I hate waiting and possibly not getting tickets.
