Hi everyone,
I havent booked any post-tour accom yet for the 23rd and 24th Oct...I am so confused with where to book it!! I might just wing it when I get there...also I remember asking ages ago and its seemed quite expensive to stay on each extra night.
Is anyone booking in to go to those museums/galleries in Florence and Milan? I havent gotten around to it yet and shopping seems so much more tempting in those places.
By the way, I am already travelling in Greece and already have a hairdryer and straightener packed if anyone needs to borrow!
Nat

Hi all

Well time is ticking! Thank heaven for this forum or else i'd be very confused when I get to Italy with regards to accomodation! I managed to sort out and discovery that it is in fact the Palladium at the beginning and end!!! So that has now been sorted.

How is everyone getting from the Airport to the hotel?

I'm sure the majority of the hotels will have hairdryers....but I guess "in case" is always a girls most loved and hated words!!

Packing, as a fellow female, has been a frikken nightmare!! It's terrible and quite a difficult time consuming feat.

I arrive in Rome @ 11:30am and hopefully they let me check in early @ the hotel so I don't have to travel with all my luggage.

Natalie you in Greece??? Wow! I also have not booked any museums or galleries I'll probably do that once on the tour I guess.

See you all VERY soon!!

Hi everyone!
I'm getting so excited! we leave tomorrow afternoon and get into rome about 3 p.m. Saturday. I know my sister's bringing a flat iron. You'll soon see that I don't use one -- my hair's way too curly and it takes forever to straighten.

also, about tours and stuff, we've already booked ours. We used http://www.italy.artviva.com/ for Florence and http://www.angeltoursrome.com/ for Vatican and colliseum tours.

We also got the airport transfers through Contiki.
Greece, Natalie? So jealous!
See you all this weekend.

Marcelle-
I'm glad you finally got everything worked out with the ending hotel. That was too weird to have a few different answers.

We booked our transportation from the airport to the hotel through Contiki.

Hotels will allow you to check in early IF they have a room open. If not, you will have to wait until check-in time, which is 2pm I think. The hotel WILL keep your luggage so you can go shop, sight see, etc...

I have realized....I hate packing.

Erin-
For your tour of the Colosseum, are you going on the 22nd at 9am? Did you have to pay when you reserved tickets? We are interested in that tour. Thanks for the website!
