We will be arriving on the saterday morning at 6am. We're booked into the palladium for that night, its a long 20hr flight so it'll probably be an early night for us! Hopefully we can have a good look around before we go to dinner on sunday. :-) We got all our information and that travel pouch thing yesterday...so excited!!!

That's great news Claire/Helen. I hope ours arrive soon. I can't wait to see what's inside the package and the itinerary in detail.

Hi My name is Natalie and I am also on the tour. unfortunatly my boyfriend and I recently split (he was supposed to be coming too but pulled out today). So am really looking forward to a good time. I am a little nervous though cos this tour is part of big holiday we had planned which I am now having to do by myself. I dont fly out till 25th of October...is anyone els staying in Rome after the tour? I havent booked accomodation yet for those nights.

Yes it's hard to believe It's a week til I fly over (I arrive on the 6th Oct into Naples) and I plan on spending a week exploring the Amalfi Coast before starting the tour.
The tour should be great - I've seen some of the "simply italy" group photos on facebook and everyone looks like they're having a blast.

Oh also, I'll be hiring a scooter to get around for my remaining 3 weeks after our tour. My first overseas trip so I can't wait!

I arrive on the morning of the 12Oct (11:30am) after a long connecting flight from JHB to Dubai to Rome!

After the tour ends I will be sticking around for 4 days just to take in some more sights and maybe take a trip down to Switzerland for the day! I'm also trying to see if I can catch a live match at the the San Siro!!!

We got our Contiki documents today!!! It's becoming so surreal.

MJ-We also arrive in Rome on the 12th, at 7:30am though. We are flying from Chicago (our connection) to Rome. I am really hoping to sleep on that long flight.

Glad to hear people have their travel docs!! We can't wait to get there. Seems like time is passing so slow now that we have only a few days left of torture until the vacation can begin!!
