Hi- I'm a first time solo traveler as well. A few of my family members have been to Italy and all agree that going through a tour company as a first time/solo traveler is the best way to go. In addition, I've had friends that have gone on trips through Contiki and all had very fun experiences. I'm hoping to recruit a few of these friends to come on this trip, but if not I'm still planning to go. Where are you from?
