Can anyone tell me if its easier to buy a Cell phone for use in Europe Rather then buying phone cards in case of emergencies ???

It is actually probably easier to get a phone card rather than to use a cellphone. Since cellphone rates in Europe are super expensive depending on who your phone provider is. A good calling card to use is the ISIC card. I used this phone card when I was in Europe last year and I am going to use it again this year. Their rates are pretty decent. You can learn more about them at www.isic.org or talk to your travel agent. Hope this helps.
