damn.. so no go for that place hey. personally i dont think im gonna be able to find a place for us because im seriously running out of time as it is.. i havent even booked my own accom for ireland next week lol. beginning to think it could be easier if we do it there when we're all together? what do you guys think? that way itd be no problem to pay and we would find a place somewhere.. particularly if we organized it at the beginning of the tour as opposed to at the end.

anna - turns out i may have free tickets to see australia v south africa in the soccer in london on the 19th now, no idea what time that is but seeing as i cant contact you on that day really i might have to say we will just have to catch up in italy, because i really dont want to mess you around with whether im gonna be able to make it or not because its likely to be a last minute thing for me. i would love to catch up but our small time frame might be a bit difficult. i hope this is ok with you!

I can’t believe how quickly the last few months have gone by!!! This trip is really happening! I am feeling so much more comfortable with the traveling alone thing because I have had the chance to chat and plan over this (and facebook). Rather then being nervous, I am excited to meet all of you (and the rest of the people on our jam packed tour!)

Shez- please don’t stress out over the hotel business. I’m sure that we are all smart girls and we can figure it out when we get there. I agree that might be the best option anyways (especially with paying separately, etc.) We can ask out TM… from what I have heard, they are very helpful with things like this. I am so jealous that you leaving next week… I’m not sure I can get any more excited for this trip and it is still more then 2 weeks away. I guess we won’t hear much more from you on this forum so don’t forget to keep an eye out for me on the 31st around 3 or 4ish??? Have a fantastic time on the 1st leg of your trip… the soccer game sounds like it will be a great time for you!

Shawna- Don’t know exactly how roommates are assigned…. I would imagine that the 1st night they will just assign us and then after that I think we can kinda choose. I’m sure it will be all good. I have a feeling that the amount of time we will spend in our room will be minimal anyways! I think bus seat positioning is much more important!!

Hey ladies,

Just wanted to share a small piece of info with you. (Maybe I’m the last to know…) Even if you aren’t taking Contiki organized flights, you can get a shuttle from the airport to the hotel for 29euro. Just go through your travel agent or call Contiki directly. This is MUCH cheaper then the 45euro everyone else wanted to charge.

Anyways, just a heads up in case anyone else was worried about how to get from the airport to the hotel safely and easily.

ok guys.. this is likely to be the last you hear from me! i fly out in the morning (well technically today considering the time.. yikes!) and ive had such a chore trying to fit everything in my backpack lol. and still have stuff to do! im so bad at organizing time!!

as far as assigning room mates, on the tour i went on we did that on the bus each time we arrived somewhere new. it usually involved passing around a list and you wrote your name in a room and it was made sure the same people didnt get the list first all the time so you pretty much ended up sharing with different people etc. and yeah bre, the tour manager will give us a hand booking a place if we need it.

Hope we are all getting excited for contiki! I just finsihed my 10 day europe tour and i had the time of my life, am kind of in denial that its over now! but looking forward to the next adventures! Just wondering if anyone was going to be in rome a day early? I fly into rome on the 30th and am staying in a hotel. Just wondering if anyone was around that day or the next before we meet up with contiki. Also what time are we meant to meet contiki at the hotel on the 31st? Talk soon girls, xo

I am getting so excited -- its less than a week now Though I must say I am jealous of all of you who are over there already - glad you had a blast though. We meet our group and TM at 6pm on the 31st in the hotel. I arrive at the airport at 11am and I will be waiting there for Shez who lands at 11:30ish. I believe Bree is arriving about 3ish. So then we just have to figure in time to get bags and to the hotel. Thats all I know. See you in on Sunday
