Hi again!! sorry for the very long time between my last response and now, trying to get money to fund my trip!! hahaha LA to the bay will be my second contiki, but my first would have only finish 10days previous to this one!!! I'm doing a 3 month trip starting in europe and doing a contiki there and then flying to LA and going on this tour. I haven't travelled on my own before so it is scary but also very exciting!!!

Two of my mates have decided to meet me in LA and join this tour as well good times yeeee!!! i leave in 1 month and 2 weeks and i don't think it has sunk in yet!!

My name is Paul and I'm also going on this tour. I'm 26 (old enough to buy alcohol in the States... ) and from South Africa.

Before this tour I will be doing a Big Apple Explorer and then spending 4 days in LA.

This will be my second contiki tour - I did a European Experience tour in 2006. That was probably the best month of my life so far - so I'm really excited about the prospect of another contiki.

P.S. Is anybody interested in doing the Alcatraz cruise while in SF? I want to make a booking but it would be great to know other people on the tour were doing it too.

My name is Alana and I'll be travelling by myself on this tour too!

I'm from Perth in Western Australia, but will be flying in late from London the night before we start so wont make it to the "pre" meeting!

I'd love to do an Alcatraz tour if someone else is ... just let me know the day/time you've booked it

I haven't done any Contiki yet, but I went on a Gecko tour last year - I'm very very excited as you can tell!!

I have booked the alcatraz cruise for 9:30AM on our second day in San Fran (14 Dec). From what I can see this looks like the best slot to go.

So... if anybody else wants to go, maybe consider that slot too. Hopefully there will be a few of us!

Hi Guys! my name is Jackie and I am going on this tour with my boyfriend, Troy. We are from Wollongong, Australia and we'll be staying at the Contiki hotel for two nights before the start.
There is a basketball game on 16 dec. at the Staple Center vs New York Nicks and we're keen to get tickets - just wondering if anyone else here may be going/or is interested?? We haven't bought the tickets yet, we went on Stub Hub website and almost bought them but weren't sure about them being sent to Aus..does anyone know? Also, the game is on the night we get back from tour so we unsure it may be a bit of a rush to get to the game!
