Hi Kate,

I'm not actually doing the wild western, but am booked on the western highlights tour that also departs on the 17th May.

I am trying to find ppl that would be interested in living it up and partying in LA before the tour starts. (I'm to chicken to go it alone) if your interested let me know, and something could be figured out....... how exciting...

Cheers,

Kobi

Hiya Kobi,

Nice to hear from someone else who is doing something similar. From reading other posts it sounds like our two trips may be joined for certain parts of the trip.

Im arriving in LA on the 15th so will have chill out time before the tour, am hoping to go to Disneyland. I would be interested in partying in LA before the trip also, going to the celeb haunts!

Kate

Hi Kate and Kobi

I saw your posts and thought I would let you know that you will be on the same bus and the only difference is that the one finishes in LA and the other stops in Vegas (assuming it runs the same way by trip in January ran)

One word of warning for you both is that if you are staying at the Holiday Inn in Anaheim (where the tour starts) this hotel is nearly an hour away from the centre of LA so you may want to consider delaying your partying until the trip - you will get ample opportunity for this!!!

If you are staying at the Holiday Inn it is only a couple of minutes by Shuttlebus to Disneyland and costs $3 return. I would recommend going in a group if you can as it will be so much more fun.

Hope that has helped a bit

Jimbo

Hi Kate.

I Was just wondering are you staying in LA or Anahiem for your pre tour accomadation.
I'm staying in LA at the Wiltshire. And as it is my first time to LA I am also doing a tour of the hollywood hills, rodeo drive etc. wouldn't mind doing Disney but not by myself. Frowner
Message me if your interested in catching up or whatever.

Look forward to chatting.

Hi Kate and Kobi,

My name is Sam and i'm from Melbourne, Australia. I have just booked on the Wild Western leaving LA on the 17th. Was previously booked on June 7th and May 24th but for various reasons have ended up on this tour. I was travelling solo but have now ended up with 2 friends on the same tour who I met on my European tour in 2004.

Looking forward to a great trip .

Sam

Hey,

Good to here there will be other people on the tour, was starting to get a bit worried!
Staying in Anaheim, for 2 nights prior to the tour, then 1 night after too. Then i move to Santa monica for 3 more nights.

Jimbo - thanks for the advice. Am up for partying whenever. as long as the budget stretches!

Hey guys, do you think you can handle another aussie on this tour? My name is Lauren, I am 23 from Sydney, Australia.

I am thinking about the Western Highlights (LA - Vegas) 17th May from LA, as I did the California Highlights (Vegas to LA) in September last year. So I can give advice on the second leg of the tour if needed! I had a good time, it got better towards the end, because I was joing a tour which had already been in motion for 8 days, and people had already formed their little "groups" so it is harder to make friends early on, but I think we are all starting together, which is awesome.

Not sure of my exact plans beforehand yet but I will probably arrive on 15th May too. Up for alot of fun!!!!......

Lauren

Hi everyone

I am not planned as yet, but I fly into LA from sydney on Qantas on 15th May, is anyone else going to anaheim that day from the airport? Not sure if you catch a bus shuttle or what. I guess I wouldnt mind doing disneyland on the tuesday with whoever else wants to go. I might book into the holiday inn if that is where we start from.

Let me know anyway.

Hello Everyone!!

Great to hear from people on the same bus as me. I'll be doing the Wild
Western on the 17th of May but will only be flying into LA on the 16th.
I have about 5 days after the tour to play around before I start
working at a Summer camp so if anyone wants to hit Disneyland or
Universal with me after our tour I'm up for it!

Ohh... and it'll be my birthday on the 24th, the day we're on the bus heading to Bass Lake from Las Vegas... Yeeha!!

Looking forward to meeting you all!
