I am thinking of booking for the tour starting 25th October, is anyone else planning to go on this tour? Would be interested to hear from you if you are!

I am 23 and from London, thinking of doing the tour as start of my travels. After the couple of weeks in the U.S-planning to go to NZ and Oz etc...

I'm thinking of doing the wild western roughly the same time. Have you booked yet?
My plans are quite similar to yours as im going to nz afterwards to visit cousins.
I just need to work how much money i would need to have to go. How far in to your planning are you?

come on the november 8th tour! both of you! it will be officially the beginning of winter and it wont be too hot or too cold and I need some cool people to come with me!

Tonia-Sorry can't do 8th november tour as heading to new zealand around then! Sure you'll find plenty of cool tour mates though!...least there is while to go yet!

Peter- Nope haven't booked yet and not that far into planning at all really. Nothing definite yet although am very interested in doing the tour..... I just need to work out all the same kind of stuff about money etc before i decide to book for definite.

What stage are you at? Are you pretty definite about doing tour? Be interested to hear more bout your plans etc.

IM very certain i want to do it, IM at the early stage as i havent booked anything yet but i'm sure about doing the wild western tour then staying in the states for another week or two. Maybe going to new york hopefully. I just dont know how much i need to do this. I will have to go to a travel agent this weekend and try to figure something out i guess. Because i would love to go to disneyland, lol i know im 21 but it would still be fun and see some american sport. Im not a huge fan of there sports but being an aussie i love all sports! So what would be the thing your most keen to see or do on the wild western? Do you have plans for before and after?

P.S Tonia i haven't planned anything yet but that tour could be a possibility and it would be good to know that there is another aussie onboard so who knows!

I'm also thinking of booking the Wild Western tour in October 2006.  I'm from Australia and am hoping to head over for the tour and also spend some time after or before travelling to NY and Canada if savings permit.  Have you already booked your tour in Oct06?  It would be great to hear from people who are going on the same trip. I've been on a European tour with Contiki before and loved it, so I'm looking forward to going again.

I've had a slight change of plan. Still aiming for the same tour but probably going to leave the tour in San Francisco (LA to the Bay) and have a couple of days to end off there rather than continue back to LA.

As is the same tour still be good to hear from anyone planning to do the wild western starting 25th October....haven't booked the trip yet but hopefully will be booking shortly...

Hi Everyone!

My boyfriend and I are from Australia and are booked and pumped for the Oct 25 tour and are heading to Canada straight after for about 5 months, before heading to London/Europe sometime next year. Please don't be put off by us being a couple, as we're out to meet as many people as we possibly can and won't be hanging off each other for the whole tour!

Can't wait to meet and/or talk to anyone else who is planning this tour!

My boyfriend and I are booked for the Wild Western starting on the 25th Oct. We'll be in arriving in LA on the 23rd Oct and will be staying at the pick-up point for the tour. Let me know if you have booked - can't wait to meet you!!!!

Hey, My Name is Laura. Im 24 from Scotland. Me and my boyfriend are booked up for the 25th October tour. Im so glad to see that others have booked too. I was starting to worry. Its going to be so much fun. I cant wait. Look forward too seeing u both there. Its not long now. x

Hi Laura!!! Good to hear that there is another couple on board!!! I'm 25 and my boyfriend Chris is 27. What have you guys got planned after the Contiki? Is this the first overseas trip you guys have done? I'm so excited now that its so close! Can't wait!!!!!!!

Hey again. I really cant wait till we go away. Im 24 and my bf Graeme is 22. I cant wait to meet every one who will b on the tour. we r staying in L.A for 2 days after the tour. We r planning on being big kids and go to Disneyland. Its our first tour we have done but we really cant wait. Speak to u soon x x

Hi Annie! You should change your tour and come with us instead We don't get to LA until the 23rd, so it might be a little hard for us to change our tour and come early!! At least you get to see everything before us! What have you got planned after the tour?

Hi again Laura! We are planning on going to Disneyland too - so you guys aren't the only big kids!!! We've been arguing whether to do Universal Studios or Disneyland and will probably end up doing both! We'll have to go before the tour though, cos we fly to Vancouver the day after the tour ends. Are you guys touring anywhere else?
