Hiya! I am travelling out on the 28th July, unfortunatley I cant go out for longer because of work. I will be coming home on the 13th August. How about you? I am a little scared about the solo thing too- I did it in Europe last year and had an amazing time, it's just the travelling which is a little scary!
I'm going out on the 26th then flying to New York on 13th to see family who live out there. Are you staying in the hotel before and after the tour? It would be good to maybe organize a trip to Universal Studios or something if the rest of the group are still there after the tour ends.
Hi! i'm booked too on this tour. i'm 25 from Rome, Italy. i'll be there on 23rd of july ... i travel solo but don't worry cause a friend of mine was there, solo, last year and he told me that was awesome.
I have just realised my flight is actually on the 12th so I am a bit gutted now as always wanted to do universal studios. I am staying in the hotel the night of the 28th so we should definately all meet up that night and have a drink. Does everybody think they will do Alcatraz? I have heard it is well worth doing but you have to book it before you go.
Ah well not to worry. I'm def up for doing Alcatraz, I was going to wait until I get the info thru from contiki about optional tours and see if I can book it then.
im flying into LA on the 27th so i have 2 days to play with before the tour starts.and i have one day in LA after the tour ends. I was a bit anxious booking the trip thinking i would be the only one going solo glad to see there others travelling solo as well..im really hoping to get to Alcatraz as well, i might even book before i leave ireland just to be safe..
Hey, I did wonder this as I was looking on the website the other day and it had a calender of what tours were full, still had spaces and which were definetly going. Our tour didn't have the definite departure triangle but then I looked the next day it did. I wasn't told anything when booking that it many not go ahead, also I keep getting an invoice from contiki saying I owe the trip money even tho I have paid it. So confusing.
I asked the same question and my travel agent said he has never known any of the Wild Western tours in summer not to go ahead. Now it says definite departure I reckon it must be nearly full so hopefully there wont be any problems.
