Hi there - My name is Karina and I'm from Sydney. My sister Alicia and I are doing to LA to the Bay tour, but I have found out that we will all be on the same bus - three tours take the same route, Western Highlights end in Vegas and LA to the Bay ends in San Fran, whereas Wild Western goes back to LA. So in effect, 3 tours on the same bus.

Based on this I thought I would say hi to you all!! I'm 26 and Alicia is 21 - we are both very much looking forward to this trip. This is my second Contiki (I have done a European one) and this is Alicia's first one. We are both counting down...I think it is 2 months and 11 days to go!!!

So has anyone else done a tour before? When is everyone getting LA and what does everyone have planned (if getting there early)?

Mike and I havnt been on a tour before, We are arriving in LA on 10 oct and staying in Anaheim for 7 days before, we plan to go to disneyland, shop and have a good look around. Ive been working extra hours to get some decent spending money!!!. We cant wait, Im 25 mike is 31.

This is my first tour. Can't Wait!!!

I will be by myself at this stage and getting there the night before. Yes I know I will be stuffed!

Staying there for 2 nights after the tour though so I can go to Disney Land

Hiya! Alicia and I get to LA on Saturday 13th October. We are staying in a hostel in Hollywood for 3 nights and then down to Anaheim the night before the tour.

Our part of the tour ends in San Francisco. We are there for 3 nights, then flying back down to LA (Hollywood) for another 4 nights. So exciting, we will be in Hollywood for Halloween!!

We will fit in Disneyland around the tour - maybe a day before and a day after? Got a list of things to do while we are in LA....

So K8T, are you actually staying in Anaheim itself for the whole 7 nights before the tour? What about after the tour, what are your plans then?

And Christa, never mind being on your own - you will have a ball regardless - I promise!!

Yeah we are staying in anaheim for 7 days before the tour, we have at least 2 days at Disneyland, and im sure it wont be hard to fill up the rest of our days, we are also staying one night after the tour and flying home the next day.
