My friends and I booked the Wild Western trip that's departing on July 30 2008 from the Best Western hotel in Anaheim. I'm Alwin (21) and my friends are: Tim (22) and Mylèn (20). The three of us live in the Netherlands (for some also known as "Holland").

We really want to know if there's someone on this forum that booked the Wild Western trip which will be departing on the same date as ours. What's your name? Where do you live? How can we reach you through the internet? (MySpace, Facebook, Ringo, Live Messenger, ICQ, AIM?)

So Australia huh? I've always wanted to meet someone from Australia. It's so great to know that four people from there will join me (us) during the Wild Western trip! And yes, it is terribly disappointing that they canceled Mexico. But look at the bright side: it's for our own safety. But then again: being kidnapped by a bunch of drugs smugglers with an arsenal of guns and grenades and in the end being saved by the Federal Bureai of Investigation would be the best United States experience ever. Hahahaha! Anyway, thanks for the messages! I was a bit scared that I would not get to know some of my travel mates before departure.

Yes very excited and today is 2 months untill we are off. Australia is a wonderful place you should consider visting sometime you will have a awesome time. We arrive in LA on the 29th july and are doing universal studios on that same day. Our hotel that night is at Best Western Stovall in Amaheim. So yes a drink we be a lovely way to start off the trip. Doing a contiki before I start studying over at Buffalo State for 6 months on a student exchange. I'm from Australia also. Booked my contiki yesterday...whoooo hooo! not long now! Jackie, I will certainly visit Australia someday!! But visiting the United States is one of the few dreams I have since I was a little boy. Hahaha, I reckon that you think this is a strange dream to have as a child. That doesn't matter, it's good to be strange sometimes! About Australia though: I sometimes listen to an Australian radiostation called 2DayFM, do you know it?

Tim, Mylèn and I are also going to the Universal Studios themepark, only after, on August 14. We booked a hotel in Burbank only for this little adventure.

To me it looked fine because it's very close to Universal Studios Hollywood and near the studio of Jay Leno. Unfortunatly, Jay Leno won't be recorded when we're there. ...
