I was hoping to make contact with a few people who are booked onto this tour before it departs!! I havn't had any luck so far....come on! I know you're out there!!

I hope there are some people who will want to travel for a few more weeks/months around the USA after the tour - I am banking on it as I am travelling solo too!!

I am booked on the Western Highlights tour, departing LA on the 10th May. I am staying at the Holiday Inn Anaheim the night before (could be a couple of nights before). It would be excellent to know someone on this trip too!

Same! I am at the Holiday Inn on the 8th & 9th 'resting' (!!!) before the big trip on the 10th! Are you doing twin share or single? I am not sure yet...and I am worried abt jetlag, but I have been told it isn't so bad when you get there, its worse when you return from your trip. I think we will all be so full of adrenelin we won't want to sleep anyway!

I went up to Sydney the other day to apply for my tourist visa - what a nightmare! They are so strict on security etc, for obvious reasons I guess, but apparently when we get to LAX, you even have to have an iris scan & fingerprints done  - its pretty intense! But very exciting....it will all be worth it I am sure.

I am studying in the USA at the moment, in Indiana, but hope to join the May 10 Wild Western tour in San Deigo. There seems to be a few Australians going on the trip, which should be good. I am getting Contiki to hold a seat at the moment, but I should be booked soon.

Is there anyone in the Southern California region after the tour? I will be there for a month.

Hi peoples Just booked on the 10th may WW tour. Starting in Washington then doin the NY doing big apple explorer on the 2nd May then LA 1 night then onto Anahiem 3 nights before. WIll be flying home same day tour ends (spewing but will be a good way to end tour). Looking forward to a big trip. Am travelling with a mate.

i am a single girl and travelling alone.

im guna stay for two nights in the contiki place after the tour also, and then to a hostel in hollywood for another 3 nights.

really wanna do disneyland, universal, shop and do a few day trips in that week after tour.

would love a travelling buddy for that week !

I am 26 yrs old, and am just busting for this trip to begin! Only 9 or so weeks to go.....argh!

We all should def meet up - in the bar !!! I arrive on the 8th May, so will have the 9th to fill in.

Not long till the tour now, im getting excited!!. Can't wait to catch up with everyone. We will have to organise to meet at the hotel the day before (for those who are going to be there on the 9th!) Maybe the bar could be a good place?
