Hey Guys
I know it's a little early but I'm thinking about doing either the Wild Western or Grand Southern in Feb or March 2008. I can't decide yet because both look good and it depends on cost ...'love to hear from anyone else thinking about going around that time too...or from people who have been on these trips and can tell me what they're like...
Thanks in advance

Jane

oh ok cool Smiler....How did u find the grand southern? is it worth the money you spend?
It all come down to how much I have when I book it. The Wild Western looks really great though.
What kind of people were on your trip? countries, ages etc.....Does everyone hang out together during the tour?
Where abouts are you from?

Hi. I am looking at doing the 4 day New York tour and the Wild Western Tour in May/June 2008. I am so excited I can't believe I have to wait a year before I go. Also the tour dates aren't even available yet so am hanging out just to book the tour so then I know I am going for sure.

Howdy Miss Janeo,

I'm doing the wild western starting 19th March 08. I think this tour looks fantastic and is going to all the great touristy spots you would want to see anyway.
Wanna chat anymore feel free to email at had_1977@hotmail.com
Cheers
Heather

Thanks Michelle - I got my book last week and have already spent 3 hours (plus countless emails) with my travel agent. My friend and I are going to do the June 4th tour. We are so excited we are about to burst!

Sounds like the June 4th tour will be a popular one. Has anyone started looked at the extra activities that you can do? We want to do the Jeep ride, Sea world, the helicopter ride and the river cruise in San Fran for sure (and probably alcatraz). I can't wait for Vegas - there is so much to do i don't think I will sleep much!

Hey Tamara,

I just did the Wild Western at the end of August myself and have to say it was the best holiday I have ever been on. Everything was just WOW!! The two weeks flew by.

I did practically all the excursions except the IMAX thing at the Grand Canyon (which from what my other fellow travellers who did go to see it said was 30 mins of their life they would never get back and was complete pants) and the San Diego Zoo because I did Seaworld instead. The two best for me were the balloon ride and the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon - absolute musts!!!

I would budget $100 every day, but just depends really on what you spend it on. Some days you will spend more some you will spend less. You always have one meal during the day whether its breakfast or a dinner that is paid for in the Contiki package anyway.

Any other questions feel free to ask me.

Janice Smiler
