Travelling Alone!!  Wild Western leaving Aug 23 would love to chat with anyone who has booked on this trip. Have done contiki europe but this time travelling alone. Also going onto to Canada and Rockies 8th Sept. Is anyone doing the same? Would love to hear from you.....

I am pretty sure that your tour also comprises the Western Highlights and LA to the Bay. They all leave the same date and go the same way around. The western highlights drops off in Vegas (?) and La to the Bay drops off in San Fran.

I am doing the LA to the Bay with my brother who is 27 and his mate who is the same age. I will be in Montana before hand to be a bridesmaid for one of my friends and then the day the tour finishes in San Fran we all fly back to LA and I meet up with my parents to spend 5 nights in Vegas, 6 nights in Anaheim and 6 nights in Hawaii. This trip is all part of my 30th birthday present to myself. I will be 30 when we are in Hawaii and my parents will have their wedding anniversary. My brother has to go home after the tour as both he and dad can not be away from work.

This will be my 7th contiki tour having done 4 in Europe and 2 in America previously. The first one in 98 was the Grand Southern and the last one was in Europe in September and was the Simply Italy tour...they are fab and you just have the best time. One of my best friends i met on my first American tour.

So looks like we are all together. My brother and his mate arrive at the hotel in Anaheim on 20th August and I will get there on 21st after the wedding. We are planning on going to Disneyland on 22nd as it will be 18 years since my brother and I went for the first time with our parents so we want to do that together and then the next day the tour starts.

Great to hear that you guys will be on my tour!  Where in Australia are you from? I am leaving Sydney arriving in LA on the 22nd, I am also planing to go to Disneyland and Universal Studios when I get back to LA as I have a couple of days in between this tour and when my Canada & the rockies tour starts..This will be my first time to America-Canada

I am travelling alone this time which I am really excited about, the last tour I did was in Europe - European Contrasts.It was a great experience and like you have met some really great friends.
I am meeting up with them in London after both of my tours.

Your plans sound great and nice way to celebrate your birthday!!!  And I'm sure that you have a lot of stories to tell on your other tours.....Have you been to many of the places we will be going to on your last trip to America? Has your brother and his mate been on Contiki before?
It will be good to catch up with your guys at the hotel for a drink the night before if you like..

I am also on the tour with my brother and his mate. I am doing this tour as a time filler between being a bridesmaid for my friend in Montana and my parents flying into LA to start a 3 week holiday for my 30th birthday.

This will be my brother and his mates first contiki tour but this is my 7th. My first 2 were actually in the US in 1998. God it is 8 years this year since we did that tour, in October actually.
