Hi, I'm planning to go on the Wild West trip departing on 20th Sept and
I'll probably spend a few days in LA after the tour (beach, Disneyland
etc.)

How are you? A friend and I are planning to book the Wild Western tour around September, not sure of the dates as of yet. We will probably  spend a few days in LA after the tour doing visiting Hollywood and Disneyland then will be spending a week in Las Vegas. I'll keep you posted of our plans. We are from Sydney, Australia by the way!

I'm good thanks, hope you are too. 



A few people have advised to add days in San Francisco rather than LA
so I'm now toying with the idea.  They said that they didn't feel
safe in LA but that SF was a totally different experience. 
Basically it's the same tour but I'd just get off in SF rather than
continue to LA.



I'll have to check whether it would make it more expensive flying back from SF rather than LA.

Hi I will be doing this tour.

Just as a little bit of advice... I did contiki tours around Europe and UK.  My UK one was basically 2 tours stuck back to back.  Those of us that stayed for the whole UK and Ireland found that we didn't mesh well with the people who joined on the 2nd half of the tour in Ireland.  Its not like we didn't talk to each other, its just we had already formed our groups and had experiences together that the 2nd half felt they missed out on.  Also the people who had to get off the tour before the end all said they wished they had known it was a split tour and they would have stayed til the end coz its really hard to get off a tour while all your friends are continuing. 

Sorry that was really long winded... but I always try to find the tours that do the ENTIRE tour, not just sections.  I also chose to do the long one (I was originally considering LA to the Bay) because you do LA at the end and its much funner to tour a city with a heap of people you know rather than by yourself.

I haven't booked it yet but am planning on going on the Wild Western departing Sept 20th. I'll be spending time in Anaheim after the tour finishes and am planning on going to Disneyland - it'd be great to have people to do this with! Before I start my tour I'll be spending 5 days in New York City.

Hello Everyone

Booked on the Western Highlights tour leaving LA on the 20th September with a mate - both from the Isle of Man in the UK.
Not sure how it works but assume that even if we're not on the same bus then we'll be staying at the same places up till you leave us in Vegas.  We are stopping in the Holiday Inn Anaheim (the Contiki one) for 2 nights before the trip goes so if you have all booked then we'll see you in the bar !!
