Great to see someone else on this tour also, I found someone else who is doing the californian highlights section of this tour too.

Are you just doing the tour or staying on longer in the states?

I'll be doing a second tour after this in canada too before heading home. Im also from Australia, in Adelaide and will traveling alone.

We will be staying in LA for 3 days prior to the tour starting and after the tour we are going to Colorado and Nebraska to see some of Jeremy's relatives

Hi, I'm from England and I'm going to be on this tour as well.

I'll be on my own so it's nice to have a chance to say "hi" to people before the tour! I'm also doing the LA Explorer beforehand (starting 11 July).

I´m from Denmark, and are traveling with a friend. It is my first time in USA, så I am really looking forward to it, and to meet you all.
We have booked one night at the hotel that the tours departs from, so we will be there frem the 14. July.
When we come back from the Wild Western tour we have planned to stay in L.A. for approx. 4 days.

Is there any of you who has booked some of the optional activities, and do you know if it is something that you have to book ahead - or can you just book it when you are on the tour??

Hey helena,

from what i see on the forums, the only thing you may need to prebook is the alcatraz tour if you want to do it. all the other optionals mentioned on contiki website will be booked when your on the tour.

im still debating about prebooking alcatraz or just seeing how it goes when we're there..
