Anyone going on the Wild Western or LA to the bay departing July 12th?

                I'm going on the same tour and i'm travelling alone. When are you arriving in LA and are you staying at the Holiday Inn? Have you done any of the optional excursions? If so which ones are the best? How much money do you recommend in US$ per day? Thanks for all you help.

Hi Kara,

I'm arriving in LA on July 10th so I'll be at the Holiday Inn for 2 nights before the tour. I've been on most of the optionals apart from the baloon ride - I'd reccomend as many as you can afford, the helicopter flight the most as there's no better way to see the Grand Canyon!  As for spending money, around $50 per day should be OK. Anyway, thanks for your message and I look foward to seeing you next week.

I will also be doing the contiki wild western tour july 12th. I can't wait. I think I'm in the same boat as Kara, am travelling solo for the 1st time. Am arriving the day before the tour starts, and I guess we are all staying at the holiday Inn. Hopefully I can do all optional excursions - they look like a blast. Am hopefully going to go onto europe and do another contiki tour or two over there. Look foward to meeting everyone next week
