Im Lauren from Melbourne. Booked in to do the tour wif my bf next May which is similar time to when you went. First time going to the states, bf did different contiki last year. Was this ya first? How did ya enjoy it? and also did you go to sea world or the zoo in san diego?guessing you guys didnt go into mexico?

No this was not my first. My first one was in year 2002, here in Australia. I Loved it so much I try and do one every year, Next year it maybe the Asia tour.

Yes I enjoyed every minute of it, but u will enjoy it even more as you will have ur boyfriend with u (I didnt). I went sea world but found it the same as the Gold Coast one, but the only difference is the killer whale. U are only there for about 4hrs only. No i didnt got to mexico.
I did almost every option, I did the 45 minute chopper ride over the Grand Cayon, which cost me about &200US, if i had $600US to spare i could of spent the day down in the cayon.

If the Tour Guide offers the SURPRAISE option do it. It was lots of fun. I wss also lucky to see a pro Basball game. It was great.

I think i better stop here, as i could write all day. LOL

I am going on the wild western on my own in decemeber! I am a bit nervous about going on my own! I was wondering if you went on your own, or if you have any advice or experiences to share? Sounds like you had a fantastic time!!!

Hi Lizzy.

I go on my own. I was abit nervous going on my own and especially going to another country and not knowing anyone for the first time. But once u do it once, it gets easier the next time. U usually met some of your tour mates the night before and if ain't tired, u usually go out for a bite to eat after the meeting and build ur friendship from there.

I have been on 6 contiki tours -all on my own- and I have a ball every time.
