I'm on this tour as well, can't wait will be flying in from Sydney a couple of days beforehand, also doing sightseeing in LA - anyone want to come to Disneyland on the 18th??

Was looking at sightseeing tours you can take around LA but most seem to last the entire day. Will let you know nearer the time anyway. Not long to go now - can't wait!!

Hi Belinda! Is great to hear from more people on the tour! Can't wait to take a break from work and enjoy this tour- my first one with Contiki! I will do Disneyland after the tour. I purchased a California City Pass and is good for 14 days, so I will start using it in San Diego- Zoo & Sea World, Universal Studios later and in the end- 3 day @ Disneyland .It's a little bit pricy, but I think is worth it!

Have decided to just do sightseeing on the 18th and do Disneyland after the contiki that way the meeting the night before for the contiki won't mean I have to leave Disneyland early.

I would like to do the whole sightseeing thing on the 18th as I think you would need most of the day to do that and I am flying back home the day after the tour ends so wouldn't have time to do any then.

If you are about the hotel on the 17th we can meet up. I should be there around 4.30 or 5.00 in the afternoon I think.

I am from Northern Ireland by the way - think I probably will be the only Irish one on the trip.

Not long to go now! Would love to do sightseeing with you girls but I've already organised Disneyland on the 18th - I'm going home the night our tour ends so that's the only chance I've got to see it

I'll definitely be seeing you all on the 19th though - at least there will be some familiar names! Are you all flying solo?? I am - first Contiki tour ever (excited but a bit nervous too!)

Cherie no haven't been to New Zealand but have always wanted to go, had a mate who went out there travelling last year and she loved it. As regards Ireland its rain rain rain here at the mo so am looking forward to lots of sunshine in the States. Yep def will meet up with you when I arrive at hotel. Will be good to meet someone else when I get there after an 11 and half hour flight !!

Belinda yep I am going alone and its my first Contiki trip too.
