planning a round the world trip at the moment startin in north america then oz, nz and home thru asia. Thinkin of startin off my trip in jan with the wild western? is it really as good as made out?

I am planning on doing the Wild Western on the 9th July 08. I have a couple of months off so am heading home to family in the UK for xmas and then going to the US on the way back to OZ.
