this will be my second tour in America as I'm doing the Grand Canadian before I do this tour

G'day Dan, i have'nt booked it yet but i am gonna try for this tour starting the 5th, actually sorry, i am gonna try to book the Western Highlights tour (also starts the 5th of sept) with one big difference, my Fiancee is coming with me and we plan on getting married in Vegas after the tour ends.

I've been on 7 Contiki tours now and the Wild Western was one of em, i did it in Oct 2005 and you are going to have a blast in most of the places you go to, Grand Canyon, Scottsdale (hotpools, booze and girls at 1am), Las Vegas, San Fran .....to name but a few.

And i did the Best of western Canada in 05 too, this was the end of the Grand Canadian, could'nt get it cos it was booked solid, Best time of all was in Whistler (bit pricey) and Banff (the Voodoo niteclub, man "What a night")

Anyway, gotta go now and continue the arrangements.........

i have booked for the 5th of sept 2007 aswell, this is my first USA contiki tour adn i cant wait. am doing the European horizon tour as well in june and i am travelling around the world for 4 months. are u leaving LA straight after the tour? i will be staying in boston for 2 months from july 4th until the tour begins and then spending 1 week in LA after the tour.

Hey Karl and Stef

First of all thanks to Karl for the insight into the Grand Canadian tour and it just happens to be my 30th when we are in Vegas so we should combine a wedding reception and a birthday into one big bash.

And Stef I'm spending only one night back in L.A after the tour as I will be flying home on the 19th but I can't wait to meet you both on the tour, Stef we could catch up in Boston as I'm doing the Grand Canadian and will be in Boston from the 17th of Aug to the 19th of Aug

I'm booked on the WW in Sept 07 and can not wait. This will be my first contiki tour and have to say am a little nervous travelling solo but am sure I will meet up with some fun loving people.

Don't be too nervous I do all my contiki tours by myself, I have found it is a better way to meet new people.

Hey guys, fingers crossed I'll be joining your tour too. Just waiting on my friend to decide if she wants to come or not. I think I'll go anyway. I went to Australia and New Zealand last year on my own and had a fantastic time so Sharon don't be nervous at all.

I can't wait to go to America, I've never been and it all sounds amazing. It sounds like we'll have a ball with a 30th birthday party and a real Vegas wedding to look forward to. I'll be arriving in LA on the 2nd of September so will be around if you want to meet up Dan.

i its good to see people are coming on the tour. i am just back from my first contiki tour and i did the European horizons tour. dont be afraid travelling alone i did and will be doing it again solo and its great, u meet so many new people and its a great way to make new friends. contiki is all go go go so i hope u all are on ur toes.
