How do I check my private messages when there is not a new one? Like if I wanted to see the old ones?

No problems.

Click on your name 'Nikki...california' then
'View Nikki...california's Public Profile' then
in the left hand collum, 8th option down click
'Private Messaging'

this will take you to your private messages.

Don't worry, they're private and you're the only one who can see them.
