In the sports section could there maybe be a section stating what sports are played in what season/months. That way people could have an idea of what big sporting events they could check out during their visit. Sure, we could google it but it would be great to have the information there! Í'd love to know if major league baseball runs in summer as I have no idea, so I am just about to google that. Just an idea Smiler

Thanks heaps for that! Good info. By the way Australia would be up there with the worlds most fanatical about sport. Seriously we are sports mad.

Also totally agree with loza Australia would almost challenge the states at being sports fanatics, oh and by the way Matty you forgot to mention AFL (aussie rules football) to your list of great sports hehe!!!!!!

Hey guys,
www.sportsline.com is a great site for all the US sports and will have a full schedule once it is released.
I did a grand northen in May 06 and went to 2 baseball games during the tour and 2 afterwards.

Cheers

Now it's the NHL and the NBA season as well as College hoops, but when I'll be in the USA (May) It's usually the start of the Baseball season, and I'm so looking forward to going to a game during my tour (I've looked at the fixtures, and I think that the game between Washington & Milwaukee @ Washington on the 23rd of May, would be the best bet).

I'm really looking forward to this (as well as a lot more other things as well), and I hope that a few from my tour group can go with me.
