I've added email alerts for a whole forum by mistake and have been getting a flood of alerts in my inbox. I can't figure out how to stop the email alerts, can anyone help???

No problem.

At the very bottom of one of these emails there will be a link for "Notification Preferences" - click the link and it will bring up a page with your notifications. Click the 'Remove All Subscriptions' box and then 'update' and away you go.

You can also reach your notifications page by clicking on your name and then selecting 'View (your name)'s Public Profile' then down the left collumn you'll see a red flag and 'Notifications' - click on it, then Click the 'Remove All Subscriptions' box and then 'update' and away you go.

I went ahead and removed your subscription to the European Magic Forum. If anyone else has done this by mistake, follow Matty's advice!
