I had a thread going in Trip advice but we got shutdown so now I am here... everyone come on over to this thread and we can keep chatting here!! I cant believe we get to go to Miami! Hey Tazzie and Michael, I think it was a bit stink it got shut down. There was still usful info being posted and what was the harm in having the best contiki post ever.
I put my holiday form in today. I asked for 7 weeks off. |

I manged to get 6 weeks off as am doing the Canda/Rockies with Stampede option first before the Grand Southern

Hey Michael, i'm doing the southern first then the Canadian with the Stampede.I was only going to do the Southern but then I saw how soon after it ended the Stampede tour started I just had to do it. Plus the rest of that tour looks pretty good. Where abouts are you from in NZ?

I tried to book with a travel company in the States(they offer 13% discount) but the lady i'm dealing with said contiki in the states can't book anything until the end of september when the brochure comes out. I told her I already had mine and she is going to see what she can sort out. I'd hate to miss out on the May 28th tour because of it.

i rang my cousin whos my little cool travel agent and shes booking me in for the 30th April 2009 tour hopefully next week...cant wait til i pay the deposit cause then i know im def on it... anybody else thinking about doing this tour ? or are you all doing the may 28th ? |

Hi,
I just got back from the travel agent.. She is going to up a quote and get back to me... She was going to confirm my seat for the GS & GN tours starting in LA on may 28th 09. I done a rough plan and worked out to be about 10k with flights tours insurance and extra accomodation. Cant wait to she gets back to me... Chat soon Josh |

Hey pervy, joanne from nz here. I called that US agency and they quoted me the same price for my Gsouthern tour.. whats the name of the person youre dealing with maybe she knows more than my current travel agent?

oh my goodness I went off to the travel agent today and booked my spots on the tours!! wwoooahhhh feeling a bit nervous now!!

rvy I'm from Dunedin I did the Grand Northern and had a blast so am doing the Grand Southern next year plus the Canada Rockies with Stampede as would cool to be there for when thats on
