Does anyone know if this departure is guarenteed? The brochure says it is but the website doesn't have it as a guarenteed. I want to make sure I am booking on a trip that is going to happen for sure.

I've just booked the tour, so excited!! I'll be going solo and staying on for the 3 day island crusing as well, anyone else staying for the cruise?

Hi Jules, i am booked on the Rome to Athens tour for the 17th Sept - is this the same one as you are on? I too am going solo but not staying for the cruise...

I just booked this trip for Sept.16th and the island cruise. I'm also going solo - my first solo trip. Has anyone done Contiki before? Happy with the experience?

This will be my first trip with Contiki as well, but I have had a few friends go on them and had a great time.

As for me I am from Calgary and just turned 26 today.

Yah I booked my flights last week, I land on the 17th at 2PM and am doing the transfer through Contiki. Its cheaper than the cab ride into town.

I am very much looking forward to going, seeing some amazing things and meeting everybody.

Hello everyone! This is Kimber again. I am so excited to meet you all. I live in Northern California between San Francisco and Sacramento. This is my 3rd Contiki trip.

Brad -I hope your birthday was great!

I believe the trip is guaranteed, at least that is what our travel agent said.

My best friend, Tamara, will be traveling with us as well – she lives in Southern California, San Diego.
We are going on the cruise as well. We have decided to get there a day early and try to catch the Pope's Wednesday address in St. Peter's Square. We found that the best way to do this is to get tickets, but you can't reserve them until 10 weeks before the date, which for us will be July 16th. Is anyone else getting there early?
Also, we are staying one extra night in Greece after the cruise because the flights don’t leave late enough for us to catch one home that day.

Hi Will! I booked an addtitional night at the end of the cruise as well. Our travel agent said the leisure lifestyle makes getting your bag after the boat docks difficult to make the noon flight we would have needed.

I can't believe we are only a about 9 weeks out! Where do you hail from?
