I hear that in Thailand they expect you to dress nicely in order to get into the temples. Like women need to wear skirts, etc.

I would like to hear from people who have been there before: How strict is the temple dress code? I have no problem complying but I also want to be comfortable. Going to be doing a lot of walking and sight seeing!

In Thailand, its quite flexible and casual.
Locals will actually dress up really well as its their place of worship. Its like dressing up for church on Sunday in Western countries.

For tourists wearing shorts, t- shirts anything casual is perfectly acceptable .
