Hey I wear contacts and glasses. I know airline safety does not allow liquids anymore. Do you suggest skipping bringing the contacts/solution altogether and just wear glasses or is there decent solution I can buy in Thailand?
I'm going on the Asian Adventure tour in January. (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia) |

You are allowed to bring a small bottle of contact solution within your carry-on. I've had no probs w/ 4 fl oz / 100 mL. You can put regular large contact solution bottle in your checked-in luggage though. Would still recommend to bring your glasses as well as back up.

Contact lense solutions are readily available in Thailand but the familiar brands in Western countries are often made under license. In Cambodia ,Laos, Vietnam only in the larger towns , cities there might be a pharmacy that stocks some
If you have sensitive eyes its best to bring all your supplies from your homecountry and avoid having any possible infections.Tropical humidity can also affect the wearing comfort of contacts so its best to bring glasses as well.Consider bringing sunglasses as well as its usually quite glary in SEA. |
