This is an awesome tour - good length as well - advice? Take lots of pictures. Beware of partying too hard at the beginning because most people get the Contiki cough towards the end - also just be careful of what you eat and buy bottled water - I ended up in a French hospital for two nights and had to catch the coach up in Italy which is not fun when you're still off colour... I'm glad I had travel insurance...

hi there,
Yeah i went on this tour last year. it's a good tour and covers alot of good stuff around europe. Yeah don't party too hard at the beginning. Many ppl crashed and burned and could not handle the pass.

Just be warned of all the contiki cons (as we were calling them by the end) along the way of your tour. Conitki takes you to shops and ppl will come out, spill you some selling propaganda and try and make you buy stuff. In Venice at the glass blowing factory you can get the exact same stuff for less than half the price at shops elsewhere. They try to rip you off big time. Conitki gets commission for the more things they sell to their tour buses.
In Barcelona the flamingo night is a complete rip off!!! Do not go!!!

You end up paying for the trip again in the expenses of all the ‘options’ along the way. Just be warned about that too.

If you want more tips of advice/tips about this trip feel free to email me at sarahalpin83@hotmail.com

Have fun

Hi Tania,

Me and my 2 friends Cheree and Brooke are on this tour. I agree, August is soooo far away and we have been planning this trip for over a year now. Where are you from? Is this the only tour you are doing? Will you be in London before or after the tour? Feel free to email me at jen130478@optusnet.com.au if you want.

Hey Kevin,

Great to hear you are also on this tour. Looks like it is filling up quickly. I see yuo are also doing the Big Apple Tour as well. My friends as I head to the USA after Europe for 4 weeks and that is one of the tours we are doing there. I have done it before in 2005 but looks to have changed slightly and cost wise, is the easiest way to see NY to make sure you see everything you need to. feel free to drop me a line at jen130478@optusnet.com.au. Would love to hear more about your holiday plans.

Yep, theres a few of us coming out of the
woodwork already. Smiler

Jen.
Ive heard mixed things about the New York trip,
some saying its good and others saying its
better doing your own thing. Im doing it
because it seems better bang for your buck, and
to catch up with a few more people as well.

You girls are doing the opposite trip to me.
I have 3 and a bit weeks over there before
heading to London. Lots to organise, but fun.

Tania.
Yeah its pretty hard not to look ahead just now.
Will see the both of you in august as well. Do you have any other plans.

Actually to both of you, how long before the
trip will you be in London? I'm there from the 19th. Smiler
