All the previous topics have been dead for a while so I'm writing up a new one! Hello! I'm a nineteen year old from Perth, Western Australia who is doing this tour. Can't wait. Got all my contiki holiday pack stuff today (how ugly is the passport case, lol) so I'm logging on and hoping to meet all of you before I... well... meet you. I'm insanely excited. I study media at murdoch university and work at coles. I'm going to be spending 3 months in england after my tour. So that's my life story, hope to hear from the rest of you soon!!!

Big Grin

i'm staying in london for three nights and after that who knows? id like to do some travelling too. im considering going back to paris or spain after the tour as its really cheap to get there, so i can see them a bit more in depth, but we'll see, i may spend a little longer in london and i have family all over england so i'll probably go visit them too. i cant wait, Big Grin

Am staying the night before the tour at the Royal National Hotel and then 4 days after the tour in England catching up with family.

Hey antony, i'll be n the royal national then too, if i didn't know how early we had to be up i'd suggest we hit the town that night, lol. seems such a pity to waste a night in london. do you go home after the four days with family? how old are you?

I had a feeling we were, but wasn't sure. I'm sitting at work thinking of everything apart from work. I've never been to Europe so it's almost like a first day at school (but clearly way more exciting) Smiler.

haha, yeah, i've got to go to work in a bit so its usually what i do to pass the time... planning etc. and bragging to every customer. can't believe its so close. i cant wait. i lived in england for four years so its not that much of a stretch to imagine myself there again, but i havent been back for about 8 years. god, so excited. are you staying long after the tour? i leave this saturday to the uk. AHH. 4 days! apparently the maximum temp on the day i get there is 13 degrees. haha, oh god.

I am leaving next Wednesday and flying into Amsterdam, then flying to London the Saturday before to have a whirlwind crash course until we leave on the Contiki. Unfortunately I am leaving the Contiki in Amsterdam, so a day short to fly to Singapore. The day we arrive in Spain is my birthday!!

A friend sent me an email yesterday and apparently the (London) weather it wicked at the moment –albeit a little cold. Mind you its about 17-22 around here at the moment.

So it sounds like drinks after the weigh-in is sorted Big Grin

People at work want me to pack them into my luggage! It's fun making them jealous... hehe
