Am staying at the royal national as well! I'm pretty keen to do heaps of travelling too before I find a job somewhere!!. Whereabouts in the Southern Highlands u live?

Hey guys

My friend Sarah and I are also doing the March 30 trip.  We're from Wellington, NZ.  Sounds like we're all doing much the same about getting ourselves halfway round the world, just on different airlines.  We leave March 26 and are spending a few days in Singapore on the way over.  We're also spending 4-5 days in London after Europe.

Hey everyone,

It's getting exciting, not long to go!. I'm 24, I've finished uni, studying marketing and IR.  For the Wellington girls.... I've been to Singapore but I was only 3 or 4 so I can't really tell you if it was any good. Do you girls follow the rugby??

Cwiddle- Did you go to school at Frenscham? And you left last year?

I'll be in touch
Cya

I know what you mean - am really looking forward to this trip and am counting down the weeks at work - driving everyone nuts.  I'll let my friend Sarah introduce herself at some point.  Me I'm 25, finished uni a couple of years ago with a double degree - Science (chemisty) and Commerce (HR/IR and Mgmt).  I am currently working in HR for the Lotteries Commission.

Nick - I'm sure Singapore will be great - any city is great if you go out to have fun.

Yes I follow the rugby (union that is not league).  I'm looking forward to the start of the super 14 this weekend.

Hi everyone,
just booked onto this tour and cant wait. Losing a bit of sleep because im too excited! I'm from Geelong in Victoria, good to hear there's a few people going on the same tour as me! I'm travelling with a friend but im so excited to meet all you guys and make new friends. I just finished uni so im using this trip to avoid the real world for another month or so!! i've been over sea's once before, but that was just bali, so im preparing myself for a major culture shock. Should be the best experience of our lives! Hope you guys log on again before we leave so we can have a chat, if not i'll see you March 30 at some ungodly hour of the morning. (In the cold!)
Only 23 more sleeps (or do we lose a night?)
Catch ya!!

Bonjour everyone,

Thought i better start warming up the old french. Year 9 french class is really coming in handy afterall!! haha

So how is everyone? Hows the packing going or not going? From what i've read it looks to be pretty cold over there still. Heavy snowfalls in Germany and France! Pack for all conditions i guess.

Just curious as to what travel insurance you have chosen, for my future reference. I know there is a few different packages out there each with there own benefits.

Looking forward to meeting you all, for a "bloody" awesome time. Going too be a massive 25 days. Talk to you all soon.
