Hey everyone! Wow, so I'm new to this forum thing so I hope I don't make a fool of myself by stumbling over somebody elses conversation! My names Simone (23) and I'm from Melbourne. My lovely friend Mark (22) and I are both heading on this tour as well! We're flying into Scotland on August the 13th, then making our way down to London a few nights before the tour. If anyone would want to meet for a pint or two (or six) I'd be rather keen! I'm also staying in the UK until the end of Feb, so if anyone is interested in doing other travelling, I'd be very keen for that too!  |

I'm glad to see some people going to Scotland. I'm heading over on the 1st of September, and going North before the tour. Where in Scotland are you both heading?
Btw, I'm interested in traveling after.. I've got a return ticket for mid December, but it can be moved until September '10.. so I'm just winging it.

I'm staying with Marks family in Glasgow for the month, but will be travelling up to Edinburgh and further up north as well. Mark will be leaving after the Contiki tour, then I'll (hopefully) be staying with some family in London/Essex for a while. I don't really want to overstay my welcome so I'll be winging it with the travel side of things as well  I was hoping to do a little backpacking to places I liked/havn't been in Europe, but of course, that depends on the money situation! Is the facebook group still up and running? I found it and joined last week :P |

I've been in London since May 1st this year and intend to be for a while afterwards. Really looking forward to catching up on Aussie gossip and what's happening. I live with a lot of Canadians!! The night before sounds good, except the early morning the next day! ARGH!! But all worth it in the end. I just got back from Running of the Bulls, and 18 hour bus rides so I think this will be a walk in the park!

Is anybody else looking into buying entrances online to save time in the queues once we are in Europe?? There are a few multiple passes as well that can save a lot of money.
Just a thought.
