yeah i'm at the royal national, or as i'm going to coin it "el cheapo royale", twin share. i tried to get only 2 nights in london before but royal brunei only fly out every other day, so i'd thought i'd get an extra day in the uk rather than pay extra for emirates. have you had any problems? who are you flying with?

Cool, im flying with Cathay Pacific, that was the cheapest for the dates I wanted to go. I'm arriving at 5.45am and cant check into the hotel until 2pm so not too sure what i'm gona do for those few hours.Haven't flown before either so it should be an interesting trip!

i'm sure your travel agent or the hotel or even contiki could help you out with the check-in gap. you might be lucky/unlucky and have a delay on one of the stops, i'm guessing cathay pacific will stopover in kuala lumpur

Yeah i'm sure it will work out, got a stop over in Hong Kong for a few hours.Cant wait for the Contiki its gona be awesum!

Hi Renee I am not going on your dates but I will have the same problem as you with the check in to the Royal National. Do you know what you are going to do yet?

hey andrew and renee, there's a place called the basement in london that's run by contiki. you might be able to hang out there til you get your accommodation, but don't quote me on that

Hey, yeah the basement is open from 9am so I will probably just hang out there until 2. You can store your luggage there as well though so I might leave my bags there and go check out the sights for a bit. Depends how tired I am after a massive flight and no sleep! I might even go find a pub close by and get a taste of a real london pub (even if it is only 10am!)
