im from melbourne thinking of doing this tour in may/june
going solo...as alot of have said mates have little money
should be a good experience though!...savings the hardest part

Hey crew, Looking at going to europe for 3-6 months at this stage in May/june 2010. Thinking about starting with a european escapade but waiting for the dates to be released, then northern europe the scandinavia tour to check everything out and then do my own thing from there. None of my mates have the money to go and I'm not that keen on going solo but other mates have said its fun. Thats awesome! It'd be great to know some people before the tour begins. At the moment it looks like i'll be going solo due to friends who can't handle their shoe addictions lol...i'll probably be staying in London hopefully a week before and a bit after the tour and doing some travelling around the city (was thinking of Glastonbury when there were a few of us saving but not anymore, plus tix sold out).
Been excited since February when i started saving!!! Not too long to go now so its becoming more real.
I'm 19, a student, and from Sydney (20 when tour starts).

Tania, I will be going in early June, however did you book your trip through a travel agent? And how did you find out about your tour date? I will be booking through contiki website and i havent seen the new dates for 2010 tours.

Hi Daria, I booked through a travel agent. I am in NZ and new dates came out here last week. I think they are out in Aus too, not sure about everywhere else. I got the new 2010 book from the travel agents. I have just had a look for you and June dates are 3rd, 5th, 11th, 13th, 17th, 21st, 23rd & 29th. Not sure which are the preferred dates though.
