My friend An and I will be going on the same trip, we're both from
Ottawa as well (21 and 22). I've never been to Europe and am so
excited.  Will be done university and travelling right after,
can't wait.

We will be meeting the group in Paris instead of London because we are visiting a friend there.

I was thinking the same thing about lugging a sleeping bag over but I have found a fantastic sleeping bag that is warm and it packs up really small. I got it half price for $80 down from $180. They also had some small travel pillows (not the ones you put around your neck) with pack up into a small bag.  I got them from Harris Scarfe but you could probably get them from any camping shop,

I am on my first European trip also.  I have travelled a bit overseas but this is my first big jaunt on my own.  I am now counting the weeks down- can't wait.  I am 29 and from Melb (well close to).  I have been chatting to friends that have been on Contiki tours and they sound like sooo much fun... this could be the start of something!

I am travelling solo as well! I think we are all going to have a great time. I have spoken to some friends that have done Contiki previously and they all have told me what a fantastic time they had so I am really looking forward to.
So what are your travelling plans????
I get to London the day before the tour leaves.

Okay I called Contiki this morning, and they said our tour is sold out!  So we are good to go May 5.  So excited its exactly 50 days today.  See you all soon.  Ashley

I had noticed that as well and rang Contiki! They told me that our tour is booked too! Sounds great, I can't wait to get on the plane....
So we have less than 50 days now, wow that's fantastic.
