Hi All...just seeing if anyone is booked to go on the tour leaving the 5th of July we were orginally booked to go on the 3rd however our travel agent stuffed up so we now leave on the 5th!

That sucks about the mishap. You should call COntiki and straighten things up with them. The guy i talked to yesterday from Contiki said that spots are still open.

When i inquired about this trip the guy said that it was filling up quickly so id be best to book now. So hopefully he is honest and not just trying to be a salesman.

It seems sort of strange that their is only a couple of us in this forum when trip on the 3rd had huge amounts of discussion. Oh well, im sure it'll fill in the next 6 months.

Are you staying in London before or after the trip at all?

Nice, yeah i was told the same thing when i was speaking to contiki cause we had that suff up and didnt want it to happen again i wanted to make sure the 5th was defo going and apparently it was and they said there were a few people already booked! lol i guess we are slightly early it is 6 months away! lol yeah we are staying at the Royal 5 nights before hand! you?

Yeah i will be staying in London before hand and prob after as well!
I if i can still get the booking i will be flying out on the 30th June. I'll prob stay at the royal as it is fairly cheap compared to most of the other places in that area of London.

Gotta call them back and confirm everything tomorrow.

Cool, we fly out of Sydney on the 29th and arrive in London on the 30th. Yeah think it will just be easier if we stay at the Royal.

Haven't even started thinking about accommodation in London. Hostel might be way to go.

You would think there would still be spots we got moved about a week and a half ago maybe two haha and they said there were still places?!

The Royal is the place you have your team meeting the night before the tour and the same place the tour leaves from its just above the contiki basement as far as im aware!

When do you find out if your on the tour or not?

I only put in request for booking today, so will hear back from them in next 40 hours. If all good, I'll be booking right away

I'll probably stay at the Generator Hostel right nearby. Much cheaper for me and good way to meet people, I think
