Anyone heading out on this tour?? I'm from Australia going overseas for the first time, going to greece and turkey prior to this tour and then finally working somewhere in London on a working Visa.... Love to hear from you all.. Amie.:-)

My friend Lachlan and myself are also coming along for this trip. We both live in Sydney. We're driving from LA to NY for a month before the contiki tour leaves. We still aren't sure if this tour is going ahead though ay cos it hasn't been confirmed? They won't tell us til 50 days before it is supposed to depart. I'm really surprised nobody else has responded to your post. The tour before has pages and pages of replies.

Wow, i'm excited i actually got a response, at least i won't be on this tour by myself..:-) I live in Sydney as well... The travel agent said the tour should run cause of the time of year thats it is so i'm not really worried. Of course people will book the guaranteed tours first but i think the tour before this is booked out. Have you guys got pre accomodation with contiki in London before this tour starts?? When do you fly out of Sydney?

I think we're probably gonna stay with friends in London before the tour. We both know a couple of people that are currently living in London so we're hoping to crash at theirs for a few nights before we leave for the tour. We leave Sydney on July 5 for USA and then arrive in London on August 5. Have you looked into if we need VISAs yet for any of the countries? Have you decided and booked yourself for the voluntary activities yet. I haven't done anything about either yet, i'm a bit of a slacker!

I've been checking out the other tour message boards and they have a lot more action.  I hope our crew is better than the message board is letting on. 
I'm from Canada, 30, and working in France as a post-doc in chemistry/physics.  I might meet up with the tour in Paris to save travel costs for getting to London.  Either way, lets get some action going here people.  Where the hell is the rest of the tour?  According to the website this is now a guananteed departure.

I just have one question, especially for Amie - Is this the trip that leaves London on August 15th or August 9th?  Amie your departing date says the 15th, but others say the 9th?  Just want to find the message board for the right tour!
