Im Lois and i am travelling on the 20th September also , with my boyfriend Levi, im 19 and hes 20. Its our first time on a contiki also. WE are from Wollongong NSW. Ive being to Europw before as i am born and bred in England, so travelled a bit.

Hey Lois!!  Nice to meet you!!  Welll we already have 2 things in common.. both first timers on this contiki.. and both born and bred in the UK!!  im from the North of England.. Cumbria.. came to Oz when i was 3!! totally Aussie now tho!!  and love it!!! Actually, all 3 of us have ties with the uk..   

SO.. this tour sounds so interesting.. me and my friends can't wait!! We're all 21 single females- can't wait to meet some handsome hotties!!  hehe (jokes) We are going to Cyprus for 2 weeks first.. then arrive in London on the 19th... YAy! we have heard so much about the tour n' how great it is..  3 weeks tho.. do u think we can hack it??  yea   It sounds soo good...  im counting the months!! have u heard anything about the tours ?? and what they are like? let us know ...

I too am booked and paid for on this trip... i am slightly older and from melbourne  but love a good party :-D i am travelling with 3 other friends and we are really looking forward to this trip .  I have been to Europe once before on a 14 day contiki tour ( way to short ) so i thought i would do the 25 day tour and see how i go ...

I recommend multi vitamins and Berocca to get you through the days as you do tend to stay up very late most nights which is fun but makes it hard when you have very early morning starts :-D

Hey Rinny,

i am pretty sure that travelling on an Aussie passport you dont need to get visa's i am unsure about your british one.  I do know that when my friend travelled on her British passport she went through customs at heathrow much faster as she didn't have to que in line :-D

You could check with Contiki on the Visa situation for the brittish passport but i am pretty sure it would be the same as travelling on the Aussie one.  We aren't going to any third world countries or Eastern Block countries which are the ones you need Visa's for . 

oh another handy hint i have come across is if you are travelling with mutiple things that need charging ie. Ipod, phone, camera take a power board to conect to your adaptor that way you can charge lots of things at once as power points are very scarce in the cabins !

Hey guys I too am going on european escapade starting on sept 20th!!Just read through the message board and I am even more excited now knowing there are heaps of others going on contiki that are my age!! I'm 23 and have only been overseas once before, and that was to bali so this is pretty exciting! I'm coming all on my own lol, gonna do contiki then who knows! I wanna work and travel the world!!

I am also from Melbourne and head out to london on the 18th But from Sydney ... maybe we will catch up at the Royal National if that is where you are staying....The first time i travelled overseas to Europe it was by myself and i did a contiki it was so much fun which is why i am going again :-D

Hey guys, good to hear back from you all! Sounds like our contiki is going to be an aussie one!!!! I am also staying at the royal national the night before we leave so will be good to catch up.. thats if im not to jet lagged!! I havent been on a flight that long before! I am arriving in london at 5.45am so have no idea what im gonna do till i can check into the roayl!!
I am so ready to party... dont know what to pack though!! 
Well must go, should be working right now!! It's hard though cause all i can think about it contiki!!!

How is everyone? and any new ppl who are coming on our tour. YaY! we got our Contiki documents today, as we leave here for Cyprus in 2 weeks.. that means its only 4 weeks till we arrive in London ready for the tour. Its so exciting and we cant wait to meet you all. My eldest bro went to London yesterday indefinatly to work..so will be catching up the night before we leave with them also, at the Royal National pub. Think i have just about got everything i need..I leave work at the end of next week, got my British passport also, so who knows may decide to stay in London for a while. NO commitments so the World is my Oyster atm..hehe !Up to now only seen Aussies on the tour, so anyone else who is going come and join in our chat for the couple of weeks we have left.. we're all ready to have fun, see all the beautiful countries, soak up the atmosphere.. sing on the coach, and just have a GREAT time meeting new friends.. so i hope to hear from ppl soon. CYA !!

Posting the same message on my own thread also.. in case someone doesn't read the other for sept 20th.. anyway ...Won't be Long Now, YaY !!.. we've been in Cyprus bout 12 days, having a GREAT time !! had a LONG jouney to get here with bout 6 hours sleep in 36, with delays going on.. looking forward to meeting everyone on the 19th in the Royal National Pub or at the meeting. Sooo y'all ready for our big adventure on the 20th ?... It's gonna be a BLAST !! & FUN !! sooo all have safe journeys and SEE YA SOON !!
