Hi i'm traveling from Melbourne for the tour on my own, can't wait first tour of Europe

Hey guys, this is my first time to europe too. Im doing it on my own. Leave melbourne may 25th so Ill get to london the day before the tour starts. Im really looking forward to it, bit nervous about doing it on my own, but i figured that im probably not going to be the only one.

^ im soloing it too, i'd say there'd be quite a few people who would be going solo so it doesn't really matter one way or the other if you are going with people you know before hand or not.

It just forces you to say hello a lot quicker than you otherwise would , im getting there a bit earlier figure won't be too many opps to take so much leave from work so doing the london 4 day tour.

yeah i assumed that there will be a few people solo-ing it too! I would have loved to come earlier, or stay after and do my own thing, but I just couldn't afford it
I get into heathrow at something like 6pm the night before the tour and fly out at midday the day after the tour ends, so im literally not going to get to see any of london
Will have to organise that one for some other time.

Very true. But next time i head that way i also really really want to do the Greek islands! Im sooo excited, its so soon! Im very worried that my suitcase is too small tho! hahaha. xx

staying night tour finishes up and fly back next day(late night flight).

25 days on contiki is a pretty lengthy span of time, i don't see myself being in the mood/energy to do much more after.

Am doing a bit of sightseeing of london before the tour starts for about 4 days.

only a week to go now! i'm doing the tour solo as well, leaving perth on the 24th so got a few days in london beforehand.

looking forward to meeting everyone, we should all go out for drinks the night before.

I realised that i will get to heathrow at 6am on tues the 26th..and check in for the Royal National isnt until 2pm, Does anyone know what i should do for the day..i don't know london. OH, an How do i actually get to the royal national from the airport???!!!

theres a tube line that goes from the airport to the middle of the city, then you can get off and change lines to get to the royal national. not sure which line but i'm sure google will know

i'll just be sightseeing around london that day if you wanna join me.
